Wilderness lodges are a unique combination of accommodations, fine dining, activities and services for your enjoyment.
A five-star rating system for wilderness lodges was developed at the request of outfitter-owners of such establishments by the QOF, Quebec Ministry of Natural Resources and Wildlife (MRNF) and Tourisme Québec (TQ). The standards of quality implemented for wilderness lodges conform to international norms for bed & breakfasts, hotels and tourist residences. This rating indicates the level of comfort and quality you can expect from a wilderness lodge, a useful tool when making a choice about where to stay on your vacation.
As the amenities, services and activities offered vary widely, you should contact the wilderness lodges for more information. At the very least, however, you are guaranteed a comfortable room, delicious meals and personalized service.
